Hi Dr. Snow!

My name is XXXX XXXXXXXX and I had a consultation with you over the phone in July of 2016. I have (had) Crohn’s Disease and you put me on your protocol. I also had horrible joint pain/inflammation and Rosacea. I’m sending you this email for a couple reasons. One, I wanted to give you an update. Two, I have one quick question. Finally, I want to take the time to wholeheartedly thank you.

I successfully tapered off of Prednisone and Imuran in November and have not had any rebound effects. Its so great to be off of those drugs! My sleep is still horrible since I was on Prednisone for over two years. In terms of my bowel, I’ve done a complete 180 since I had my consultation with you. I now have normal, healthy bowel movements and no more joint pain. Basically, it feels like a miracle. As happy as I am about the changes, I’m also extremely indignant at the fact that my doctor continued to put me on harmful medications that only exacerbated and blanketed the problem. You have helped me to become a true skeptic Dr. Snow. And that’s a good thing!

Sometimes I still have blood in my bowel movements (once every few weeks). This isn’t like it used to be where I would wipe and the toilet paper would be completely red with loads of mucous.  I admit its a little scary to see blood in the stool at this point. (I’ve done your protocol to the T and use the exact supplements you prescribed.) I’m guessing I still have some healing that needs to happen. It’s been about 6 months and I’m willing to go as long as it takes. I also still have issues with the rosacea and I assume that will go away once I’m completely healed.

All that said, I am forever grateful for your help Dr. Snow. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease when I was 20 years old. I’m 28 now. Until I came across your blog, I thought I’d be stricken with this burden called Crohn’s for the rest of my life. I’ve been through a lot of hard times due to this ‘disease’. Knowing that I won’t need to suffer anymore is probably the best part of beating this. When you’re going through hell and think that this will be your life till the day you die is by far the hardest thing to face. Talk about hopelessness. I want to say thank you for freeing me from those chains most of all.
