Lorne Buchanan – Ma.

In 1987 I was incredibly sick and was hospitalized at a major Boston hospital. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. The only option that the Doctors gave me was to have my large intestine removed and insert a colostomy bag. Since I was in my mid 30′s this was not an appealing prospect for the rest of my life, so I refused the operation. I then spent 5 weeks in the hospital until I was well enough to be discharged.I spent the next 12 years on and off of steroids and had to use cortisone enemas regularly with major bouts of Ulcerative Colitis at least 3 times per year. I met Dr. Albert Snow around the year 2000 and he put me on a wellness program for intestinal health. Slowly but surely over the next 2 to 3 years my health improved. I have been off of steroids and all other medications for at least 5 years now and I am in the best shape I have been in since my late 20′s.Without Dr. Snow’s support and wellness program, the quality of my life would be no where near where it is today. Ulcerative Colitis is now the furthest thing from my mind day to day as opposed to having to plan my life around what I now think of as my “former disease”. After being on Dr.Snow’s plan for a couple of years I went in for a regular colonoscopy. The Doctor reviewed the results with me and said that he had never seen an improvement in colon health like he saw in mine since my last colonoscopy.Based on my experience I would recommend that anyone with any gastrointestinal issue would benefit from meeting with Dr.Snow to discuss their situation.*
